Documents We Need

  • Valid Indian passport (6+ months validity)

  • Return flight ticket

  • Proof of hotel booking or accommodation

  • Sufficient funds for stay (approx. USD 100 per day)

  • Travel health insurance (recommended)

  • Filled immigration arrival form (provided at airport or online)

Rule

  • Indian nationals do not require a pre-arrival visa.

  • A free 30-day visa on arrival is granted at the airport.

  • Extensions are available for up to 60 days (subject to approval and fees).

  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

  • Entry is granted at the discretion of Maldivian immigration authorities.

Important Notes

  • Indonesia e-Visas for Indians can be applied online via the immigration portal or through authorized agents.

  • Processing time varies but is generally 5–7 working days.

  • Extension can be applied for at Indonesian immigration offices before visa expiry.

  • Carry printed e-Visa approval at the time of travel.

  • Visa on arrival is currently suspended or limited, so pre-approved e-Visa is recommended.
